Eternal Radiance: A Literary and Analytical Study of ‘You “Light” Up Our Lives’

Author(s): Dr. Krishna Panda

Abstract:

Preface The poem "You 'Light' Up Our Lives" is a contemplative and spiritually rich composition that celebrates the divine presence permeating the universe. It explores the sacred light of existence, the harmony of nature, and the eternal cycle of life, death, and rebirth. Inspired by Vedantic and Upanishadic wisdom, the poem reflects on how cosmic elements—the sun, moon, planets, waterfalls, rain, and flowers—manifest divine energy, illuminating the human mind and spirit. Drawing upon the Vedas, Upanishads, Bhagavad Gita, Shrimad Bhagavat Mahapuran, and the Vachanamrut, the poem delves into the metaphysical connection between nature and the divine, urging us to recognize the higher truths that govern existence. It invites the reader to reflect on life’s transience, the renewal of the soul, and the ultimate pursuit of liberation (moksha). With its vibrant imagery and philosophical undertones, this poem serves as both an artistic expression and a profound meditation on the interconnectedness of all life forms with the Supreme Light (Param Jyoti).
