There are three reasons for the occurrence of diseases in the body. Visham (विषम), Parinama (परिणाम) and Prajnapradha (प्रज्ञापराध). “Asatmya Indriyarth Sannikarsha:” Visham, “Kaal” is the result, which is the disease in the form of sins committed in the previous birth, “Purvajanmakritam papam vyadhirupena jayate” and diseases arise during the period of seasons, “Ritusandhishu vyadhirjayate”, and those who know the crime committed by the senses is (प्रज्ञापराध) “Prajnaparadha”.
