Abstract:
Awareness of women empowerment means breaking discriminatory behavior and making women aware of their legal rights, making women aware of their legal rights, providing employment opportunities and eliminating gender discrimination. The main tool of awareness of women empowerment is education, which makes women aware of their legal rights, property rights, and labor rights. The role of teachers is paramount in building a beautiful society. Therefore, awareness of teachers is an important issue in women empowerment. Middle school teachers of West Bengal have a special role to play in women empowerment. They strive to prevent harmful practices like child marriage, dowry and discrimination through education. They often use digital tools to increase student engagement. And there is no difference in awareness between male and female teachers regarding women empowerment.
